THAI HILL TRIBE SILVER

Hill Tribe silver is an art onto itself. Hill Tribe silver content is 95%-99% pure from Chiang Mai province in Northern Thailand. (Sterling is 92.5% pure.) The higher the silver content the softer the metal which makes it easier to shape. The Hill Tribe use traditional tribal methods which are passed down from generation to generation. Because it is handmade no two pieces are exactly alike, even the smallest charms. Nothing that is mass produced can compare to this art. Thai Hill Tribe silver charms and beads are characterized by burnished black outlines which make them unique, beautiful and relatively maintenance free (maybe a polishing cloth wipe, once a year).
